o Dress Code

Acceptable Items of Clothing

* Shorts of proper length * Bermuda shorts and split skirts * Hats (except during special events as posted by the House Committee) * Shoes must be worn at all times * Jeans may be worn as long as they are clean, not torn, frayed, cut,etc. * Sport shirts, knit shirts, regular shirts and t-shirts (Clean without offensive logo’s etc.) All Men’s shirts must have sleeves. * Dresses, suits, skirts, slacks, sport coats, slacks with coordinating tops.

Unacceptable Items of Clothing

* Tank tops (Men, Women and Children) * Shirts, Hats or any other item of clothing that contains offensive logos or language * Shirts that expose the midriff, Tube Tops or Halter Tops. * Men’s sleeveless shirts * Shorts or short skirts which expose buttocks * Bathing suits * No revealing tops or dresses in poor taste. * Pants must be worn in such a way as to not show their underwear

Any dispute will be settled by the most senor Staff Member on Duty.

 

0 Eagle Scout Candidates. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that can be achieved in the Boy Scouts of America. Boy Scout Troop 829 has three scouts that have completed their project requirements for Eagle Scout. Next step is the Eagle Scout Review Board.

 

0 Moose Legion. Join the Moose Legion. If you have sponsored a member into the lodge, you qualify for membership. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Ask any officer or the administrator for details on the Legion.

 

o  Attention

Everyone who enters the social quarters is to be reminded that this fraternity is about coming together for the benefit of Mooseheart and Moosehaven.

Remember the oath you took!

"Participation in the social quarters of any lodge is a privilege and not a right of membership. This privilege is conditioned upon all persons conducting themselves, while in and about the social quarters in a gentlemen/ladylike and orderly manner."

We will not allow altercations, either physical or verbal to occur. If you or your guest are involved in any type of altercation and are asked to by the Staff to leave then you may be subject to suspension of your privilege to use the Social Quarters. This Lodge will not tolerate continued abuse of this rule and everyone is subject to the same rule. The House Committee has had too many complaints in the last couple of weeks and we are prepared to take a stand. No further warnings will be given!  House Committee

                                                                     Evening Meals 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

 

 

o  Eat and Watch the Redskins Play. The social quarters will be offering food during the early home games that the Redskins play on Sundays. If the game is at home and starts before 3pm we will have food set out for the enjoyment of all the members in the social quarters at that time. Please do not take food home as it for the enjoyment of those in attendance.

o  Newsletter Articles. If you have any article for the lodge newsletter, please have it to the secretary prior to the 25th of the month.

o  Support Mooseheart Schools. Mooseheart elementary and middle schools need our help. The WOTM chapter is supporting Mooseheart schools by saving BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION coupons from hundreds of General Mills products. Chapter members and wives of lodge members are asked to help with this project. You may turn the coupons in to any chapter officer or place them in the WOTM collection box in the social quarters to the attention of Krystal Wines.

o  E-Mail Newsletters.  Thanks to all of you that have requested that the monthly newsletter and calendar be forwarded via E-Mail or that you will view it on the lodge web site. The list for electronic distribution is growing which saves paper and mailing cost. All members with internet access are encouraged to take full advantage of this distribution method. Those members that would like the monthly newsletter and calendar forwarded via E-mail or can access via this web site, please notify us via E-mail. You will be removed from the snail mail listing. This saves postage and trees.
